The Hate Machine

I think something’s wrong with my Hate Machine.

I’ve got it turned up to 10, but I’m still not feeling it.

The hate. The murderous, self-righteous hate. The mindlessly fanatical hate.

I set the dial to “Palestinians.” Nothing. No reaction whatsoever. So, I set it to “Israelis.” Again, nothing. I just can’t seem to get my hate up. It’s embarrassing. Maybe there are some pills that would help.

Seriously, this is interfering with both my social and professional life. I need to get my hate up somehow. I’ve tried everything I could possibly think of.

I tried reading nothing but news about Israel’s ongoing liquidation of Gaza. I stared at pictures of dead and horribly mutilated Palestinian children. Thousands of them. Killed. Torn to pieces. Residential neighborhoods reduced to rubble. Whole families crushed under tons of concrete.

I told myself, over and over, that they were “terrorists.” Or the children of “terrorists.” Or that they had “voted for terrorists.” Or they were “anti-Semites.” “Human animals.” “The Children of Darkness.”

It didn’t work.

I tried reading nothing but news about the Hamas attack on October 7. The murder of families. The wanton slaughter. I stared at the pictures of the blood-smeared bedrooms. The footage of the executions. I read the messages that people sent to their loved ones before they were shot to death.

I told myself, over and over, that they were “fascists,” “occupiers,” “colonizers,” “Zionazis.” I told myself that they deserved what they got.

Nothing. No arousal whatsoever.

I checked the connections on my Hate Machine. They all seemed fine. So, I tried rebooting it. Twice. Nope. That didn’t work either.

So, finally, I called the Hate Corporation, but I couldn’t get through to a Hate representative, because of “an unusually high volume of callers.”

So, apparently, I’m not the only one with this dysfunction.

That was kind of reassuring. Because, frankly, I’ve been feeling so left out. All the really cool people are grooving on hate. Seriously, check the Internet. It’s like a 24-hour Roman orgy of hate, in which I’m unable to participate, apparently.

I’m sorry for whining. It’s unseemly, I know. And I am fairly sure my inability to achieve and maintain a satisfactory tumescence or protuberance of hate is not my Hate Machine’s fault. I have the latest model, with all the new features.

And other people’s Hate Machines are working just fine.

How is yours doing?

Are you feeling the hate? Are those you hate the embodiment of Evil? They are liars, aren’t they? Liars and murderers. Genociders. Nazis. Subhuman scum. Everything they say is a lie. Everything they do, and are, is wicked. They cannot help it. They were born that way. They need to be wiped off the face of the Earth. They need to be eradicated, don’t they? They are never going to change their ways. Making peace with them is not an option. It’s us or them. They, the others, and all their issue, need to be defeated, vanquished, erased, exterminated.

This is no time for compassion or pity. They, the others, have no morals or ethics, or simple human empathy, so we can’t afford to have any either. None of them are innocent. None of them are civilians. All of them, men, women, and children, are soldiers in the Army of Evil! They’re murderers, so we have to be murderers! They are liars, so we need to become liars! Truth is for children! This is war! We need to kill and kill and kill, and celebrate killing, and swim in their blood, and defile their corpses … the others … our enemies!

Well, what do you know? It appears my Hate Machine is functioning properly after all! Yes, wow, that feels so much better! I guess I just needed to relax, let go, stop thinking so much about what’s right and wrong, and let my hate do what it wants.

Seriously, I’m not kidding, folks … I haven’t had a hate-on like this for years!

I’m ready to join that Roman Orgy of Hatred!

All I need to do now is pick a side.

  1. I went to a “Pro-Israel” with a sign that read “Remember the Maine!” I sat at the back. Only one guy asked me “What is the Maine?”. Hate comes and goes, ebbs and flows . . .

  2. I realize that all of the cool kids and the really smart/intelligent kids hang out at the atheist table in the school cafeteria. They laugh at the kids at the agnostic table for not having the courage of their convictions to be atheists. And they have nothing but contempt and derision (but not necessarily “hatred” per se) for the idiots who trust in the idea of the existence of a supreme being.
    After this introduction of the cool and the uber smart kids, they have no use for the emotion called “fear” and that emotion having something to do with some meaningless thing called “survival”. The cool kids aren’t interested in merely surviving. They’re all about their lives THRIVING.
    Anyway, if you want to crank up your hate, maybe suspend your active disbelief in a supreme being for a minute or two and ponder this: “The fear of Yahweh is to hate evil.” Maybe this is too complicated of a sentence for the uber intelligent kids. After all, good and evil don’t really exist, do they?

Atheists will routinely request proof or evidence of the gods whom others have claimed exist which prompts a question in my mind which hasn’t been addressed by any atheists I’ve ever encountered, i.e. “When did atheists become the “go-to” authority on discerning the gods? Even more bewildering is the fact that when they’re asked what characteristics they’re looking for beyond gods that can be proven to exist, they suddenly become as deaf and mute as the numerous idols, which are by definition worshipped “as gods”(not to be conflated or confused with “icons” which are merely “representations” of the gods. Again, by definition, representations or representatives are NOT what or who they represent which presents a problem for mainstream Christians who then choose to ignore Paul’s use of the term in his letters when referring to Christ, but I digress)

      Regardless of one’s belief or lack of belief in the gods, wanting to thrive rather than merely survive doesn’t sound like such a bad idea to me, and I personally know plenty of bible thumping Christians who think the exact same way. They drive gold edition Cadillacs, attend mixers at the country club before dining in fine restaurants. They complain about the weeds that are brought into their once impeccable looking lawn by the landscape crew who aren’t following proper weed quarantine procedures.

      The author isn’t claiming he doesn’t hate evil. He’s pointing out that he isn’t being asked to hate evil, but to hate people which most God-fearing people are supposed to know are created by God. The biblical God revealed to Jeremiah that “the heart of man is deceitful above all things and desperately wicked. Who can know it?” God and anyone God chooses to reveal that fact to. Even so, God himself will convert the heart by showing one just how hopelessly evil one’s heart actually is right before He grants them the gift of repentance. Those who routinely claim that they’re saved because they aren’t perfect are clueless and hopelessly damned.

      As someone once pointed out, “Only God is good” Matthew 19:17 and when dealing with an eternally, and infinitely omnibenevolent God, Mother Teresa and Mahatma Gandhi must stand in shame right alongside the Hitlers and Pol Pots of the world.

      The biblical god isn’t eagerly crying out for his people to hate other people. The world which isn’t ruled by Him, but instead what originates and emanates from within the human heart is desperately seeking evil and destruction. Mark 7:20-23

The big secret is that the world of normal waking consciousness is actually something akin to “The Matrix” of that film series… but the proprietor of the illusion is a rogue spiritual (hyperdimensional) entity who will continue to test the limits of free will, and explore every variation on selfishness and malice, backed with pervasive full-spectrum propaganda, until the Original Boss decrees a definitive end to the carnage and executes a much more profound “Great Reset”. Original Boss sent a personal representative to warn/clarify 2K earth orbits ago, but the gesture was not well received and has been obscured by intense revisionism.

  3. Sometimes it’s better to just sit back and watch the spectacle. During the so-called ‘Civil War’, people would pack a picnic basket and stroll out to one of the nearby battles going on. They sit on the sidelines and watch each side attempt to slaughter the other. I would assume that in some cases, they might have a vested interest in one side being victorious over the other, but even more importantly, the same mentality reigns today when we’re being bombarded with “end of the world drills” from the mainstream media who can’t stop showing us how close we are to global annihilation while punctuating these horrors with offers of two for one cheese stuffed pizzas delivered hot to your door in less than 30 minutes or your order is free. When the world is about to end saving a few bucks makes a big difference. Get yours today before the cognitive dissonance catches up with you…

    Citizens of Oceania are indeed expected to participate in the Two Minutes Hate. However, this daily function is done alone. Other members of the Outer and Inner Party are assembled for an express purpose.

    The auditory and visual cues you experience in these sessions along with the camaraderie of being with other party members comrades will help generate the emotions of hate, fear, and loathing of the enemy. Note the Party will inform you in due time which side is the enemy.

The British media (Guardian and BBC) seems to have agreed to refer to the current situation as the Israel Hamas war in which Hamas carried out a terrible act and Israel is retaliating (eye for an eye, tooth for a tooth). This is not a war. The forces are incredibly unequal. Even without the support of the of the biggest military force in history, it’s a massacre or genocide. Abhorrent to the standards of civilisation.

    According Haaretz and the Jerusalem Post Israel (Netanyahu) created Hamas and continues to support it (2019). The reports from the IDF lead many of us to believe this was a false flag, a sophisticated one. Hamas terrorists sailing across the sky to defeat the most paranoid and complex security on earth has all the hallmarks of a ludicrous distraction. Type ‘Hamas false flag’ into Twitter. None of us know the relationship between Hamas and Israel. It’s purpose is to divide and paint Palestinians as crazed Islamists. In contrast to Yasser Arafat a great and respected statesman.

    Joe Biden has received more Israeli money than any other American politician in the last forty years.

      For this reason I’m more inclined to refer to it as a prison break. From the open air prison called Gaza strip.

      Still those having broken prison are rampaging like savages hence neither gets my “support”. Both are fucking maniacs and neither can claim a moral high-ground.

      1. I am unwilling to accept the IDF’s version of what happened or their embedded pals at the BBC. I am also confident that Zionists like Netanyahu don’t care whether their victims are Jews or Arabs. The flying terrorists narrative is insultingly ludicrous against a system that was supposed to be secure against mice. Israeli citizens are now blaming Netanyahu for its failure. I’m also fairly confident that whatever atrocities took place were paid for by the Israelis like Hamas itself. You cannot separate Hamas from Israel.

        Britain created the Muslim Brotherhood (1942), American created Al Qaeda, Israelis created ISIS and Hamas. Vladimir Putin said that almost all Islamist fighters are mercenaries. Their countries are ravaged by Zionist savages (like Obama, Clinton, Boeing, Northrop Grumman and Raytheon). They have no choice. The real savages are in Washington (and Israel).

  6. Pick a side? Easy, the good guys don’t fuck goats and dead women and then dismember her corpse. Remember that and you are good to go. But I somehow missed the right wing/Palestinian love affair. I thought that was a left wing thing. I skim though all the right wing news aggregators almost every day and subscribe to several sites. I ran across it in a David Cole article on Taki’s Mag. I left a comment asking if I was a right wing outlier but haven’t head back.

    Anyway, I’ve got another Germany story. You should have known these people are a time and punctuality cult just waiting for a tripwire to goosestep back into history. I knew an exchange student who stayed with a German family there. One night she came back home late after her curfew. The father had put his key in the backside of the lock to teach the inconsiderate little time waster a lesson. She then had to sleep in the train station to avoid freezing to death. Gotta love those Germans.

    Heh C. J., after comparing your plight with the Brit Palestinian critic, I looked back through you articles on your persecution by German authorities to make sure I wasn’t out of line. You have taken a stand on principal and I can’t argue against that.

    Reminiscing back through your work, I had read most of your earlier articles but not had really read them. You have put out a lot of great material and I am going to go back and re-read all of it when I have time.
